Infant Adoption Training Initiative: Understanding Infant Adoption Participant Guide

This training program seeks to help health-care and other helping professionals offer adoption guidance in a nondirective, noncoercive manner to expectant parents. It also encourages participants to recognize biases in decision-making and foster effective support for expectant people considering adoption. The training covers parents' rights, an ethical decision-making framework, guidance on language, counseling techniques, and case studies. Additional tools and resources are included.
