Immunity for Making Reports

Citation: Ann. Stat. § 38-2223(f)

Anyone who, without malice, participates in making a report to the secretary of the Department of Children and Families or a law enforcement agency relating to a suspicion that a child may be a child in need of care shall have immunity from any civil liability that might otherwise be incurred or imposed.

Additional Provisions of Immunity

Anyone who participates in any activity or investigation relating to a report or who participates in any judicial proceeding resulting from the report shall have immunity from any civil liability that might otherwise be incurred or imposed.
