Provided both before and after adoption, adoption support and preservation services can help families with a range of issues. These services are available for everything from learning how to explain adoption to your preschooler, to helping address the needs of a child who has experienced early childhood abuse and trauma, to supporting your adopted teen's search for identity. All family members can benefit from some type of support. This factsheet outlines the types of services available, their benefits, and ways to find services.
