Immunity for Making Reports
Citation: Ann. Stat. § 32A-4-5(B)
Anyone reporting an instance of alleged child neglect or abuse is presumed to be acting in good faith and shall be immune from civil or criminal liability that might otherwise be incurred or imposed by the law.
Additional Provisions of Immunity

Anyone participating in a judicial proceeding brought as a result of a report required by the reporting laws is presumed to be acting in good faith and shall be immune from civil or criminal liability that might otherwise be incurred or imposed by the law.
Limitations to Immunity
Citation: Ann. Stat. § 32A-4-5(B)
A person making a report or participating in a judicial proceeding brought as a result of a report required shall not be immune from civil or criminal liability if the person acted in bad faith or with malicious purpose.
