Title of Program Announcement: Family Connection Grants: Child Welfare/TANF Collaboration
Purpose: To support the connection between family members and children/youth who are in, or at risk of entering, foster care by helping kinship caregivers identify and access appropriate and meaningful services. Additionally, grantees are to demonstrate how the collaborative approach of child welfare and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families programs improve outcomes of kinship navigator programs related to safety, permanency, and well-being for the target population of children/youth and their family members.
