Resources in Spanish are a helpful tool for child welfare professionals working with Spanish-speaking children, youth, families, and communities. Information Gateway offers selected publications that are available in both Spanish and English, our English-Spanish Glossary of Child Welfare Terms, and guidance on how to report suspected abuse or neglect. Spanish-language resources are also useful for families and community members involved with the child welfare system or interested in adopting, becoming foster parents, caring for a relative’s child, identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect, or finding help with a personal situation. Child Welfare Information Gateway promotes the safety, permanency, and well-being of children, youth, and families by connecting child welfare, adoption, and related professionals as well as the public to information and resources covering topics on child welfare, child abuse and neglect, out-of-home care, adoption, and more. |
