On behalf of the Children’s Bureau, the Child Welfare Information Gateway and the Capacity Building Center for States hosted a series of webinars to perpetuate the learning from the Youth At-Risk of Homelessness (YARH2) grantees. The Children’s Bureau funded the YARH multi-phase grant program to build the evidence base on what works to prevent homelessness among youth and young adults who have been involved in the child welfare system.
The fifth webinar in the series highlighted the lessons learned and shared resources and tools from Westchester County Department of Social Service’s (DSS) project, the BraveLife Intervention. Westchester County DSS partnered with The Children’s Village and the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service’s Ravazzin Center to develop BraveLife Intervention, a youth-centered, strengths-based initiative.
