Rereporting and Recurrence of Child Maltreatment: Findings from NCANDS

This paper focuses on re-reporting and recurrence, and on gaining a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding children with repeated involvement with CPS agencies. This study follows children using a multiyear, multistate, case-level NCANDS data set.
