Resources that support positive outcomes for youth, especially those involved in the child welfare system, and contribute to their positive development.

Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB)
Promotes positive outcomes for children, youth, and families by supporting a wide range of comprehensive services and collaborations at the local, tribal, State, and national levels. FYSB is within the Administration on Children, Youth and Families of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

National Child Welfare Resource Center for Youth Development
Increases the capacity and resources of States and tribes to help youth in care establish permanent connections and achieve successful transitions to adulthood.

National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth
A free information service for communities, organizations, and individuals interested in developing new and effective strategies for supporting young people and their families.

 

 

Selected Resources

National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD)
NYTD will collect case-level information on youth in care including the services paid for or provided by the State agencies that administer the Chafee Foster Care Independence Program (CFCIP), as well as the outcome information on youth who are in or who have aged out of foster care.
