Focusing on your initial reasons for conducting a program evaluation, you may use the results to:

• Report accomplishment of the expected outcomes to staff, managers, stakeholders, or funders
• Target program improvement efforts to specific components where outcomes were not met
• Gain or solidify support for the program among policy-makers or the community
• Share lessons learned with other child welfare professionals

Before sharing the evaluation results, consider what different audiences want to know so you can address each group's needs. Results can be communicated through written reports, staff meetings, formal presentations, and press releases.
