Children's Bureau Funding

The Children's Bureau, located within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families, Administration on Children, Youth and Families, is the main Federal funding source for child welfare activities. The Bureau offers funding through State and Tribal grant programs based on population and other factors, as well as discretionary grant programs for specific activities within its priority areas. Discretionary Grant Site Visit Reports
Children's Bureau contract staff members have visited selected Discretionary Grant projects. The purpose of these visits is to learn more about what funded projects are doing and the early results of their efforts.
