Treatment for Abused and Neglected Children: Infancy to Age 18
User Manual Series (1994)
ConclusionTherapy alone will not eradicate child abuse and neglect. Clinicians must develop, organize, and use all the resources available to help children. Parents and family members, school, law enforcement, and child welfare personnel are all striving to protect children from trauma generated by abuse and neglect. A comprehensive and cooperative effort that builds on the skills and services in the community will improve the condition of abused and neglected children.
