Strong communities promote strong families. And when families are supported, children are more likely to grow up happy and healthy, free from the risk of maltreatment. Broad-based partnerships, working across systems, are necessary to create lasting change in how communities think about prevention and support families. Working with others provides greater opportunities to identify strategies for ensuring that all parents in your community have the skills, supports, and resources they need to care for their children.
