State Contacts

Use the following resources to find State agencies involved with child abuse and neglect prevention.

Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention Grants (CBCAP) Contacts
CBCAP is a formula grant program authorized by Title II of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act. Each year, a Lead Agency designated by the Governor in every State applies for and receives this funding to support a range of child abuse prevention programs and activities. This list provides contact information for designated lead agencies. For more information on CBCAP, see the CBCAP website.

Promoting Safe and Stable Families Contacts
Contact information for organizations that have received Promoting Safe and Stable Families grants from the Children's Bureau to prevent the unnecessary separation of children from their families; improve the quality of care and services to children and their families; and ensure permanency for children through reunification with their parents, adoption, or another permanent living arrangement. For more information on the Promoting Safe and Stable Families grant, see the Children's Bureau website.
