National, State, and local studies have documented the workforce crisis in child welfare and how an unstable or ill-prepared workforce can have a negative impact on child and family outcomes. National and State-level initiatives are underway to address these workforce concerns and provide strategies for child welfare agencies to build and maintain an effective and stable workforce.
