Beth A. Haseltine |
Beth Haseltine, Executive Director of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center for 13 years, leads with passion and compassion this private, nonprofit agency dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Ms. Haseltine has served on the North Dakota Alliance for Children's Justice since 1990 as a member of the Steering Committee and as co-chair of the Prevention Committee of this state multi-disciplinary Task Force. Under her guidance, two statewide Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Summits have been held. Each of these summits gathered over 300 persons to work on the development and implementation of the North Dakota Plan for the prevention of child sexual abuse. Ms. Haseltine has directed her energy to leading the Task Force and the citizens of North Dakota toward the fulfillment of a vision, that is: every adult feels an equal weight for the daily care and protection of all children; and, therefore, every North Dakota child is safe from sexual abuse. Ms. Haseltine exemplifies the energy, wisdom, and commitment needed in the effort to eliminate the sexual abuse of children.
