KentuckyJames Grace has made significant contributions toward the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect in Kentucky. In September 2003, he assumed the position of coordinator for the statewide implementation of the Child and Family Services Reviews (CFSR) Program Improvement Plan (PIP). Mr. Grace works diligently with all 16 regions in Kentucky to develop strategies addressing safety, permanency, and well-being for at-risk children and families. Coordination of the PIP proves vital to the Cabinet's mission to enhance child welfare outcomes. Mr. Grace also provides domestic violence training to numerous professionals, including judges, prosecutors, and mental health and medical professionals. He has worked for over twenty years for the State in Adult and Child Protective Services and provides ongoing consultation to staff related to best practice. |
