Ramon E. Pardue is CEO of St. Joseph's Villa, where he is responsible for overall administration of that multi-service agency offering a variety of campus-based social services in Richmond, Virginia. He also serves as Vice President of the St. Joseph's Villa Board of Trustees, Flagler Home Corporation Board, and the St. Joseph's Villa Housing Corporation Boards I and II. Mr. Pardue has been with the Villa for 23 years and was instrumental in transforming the agency from an orphanage into a multi-service children's organization. The Villa serves more than 400 children and families in need each day through a variety of individualized educational, respite, residential, and day services. Mr. Pardue has worked to support and implement programs and systems for neglected and disabled homeless youth, as well as physically or mentally challenged children. Through Mr. Pardue's leadership, a unique partnership has developed among the Villa, the Virginia Department of Education, Dr. Jo Lynn DeMary, and the public schools of Richmond City Henrico and Hanover counties to provide alternative education services for at-risk youth. With support from the Flagler Foundation, Mr. Pardue founded the Flagler home, which serves homeless women and children. He has worked closely with the Virginia Department of Social Services to provide a seamless continuum of care for the children and families who receive services from both agencies. In addition to his obligations at the Villa, Mr. Pardue serves on the Virginia Department of Social Services Advisory Committee on Policies and Standards Governing Investigations of Child Abuse and Neglect in Out-of-Family Settings. He is a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work Advisory Board, the Virginia State Advisory Board of Interdepartmental Licensure and Certification of Residential Facilities for Children, the Youth Matters Board, and the Homeward Board of Directors.
