Adoption Knowledge Affiliates
A postadoption resource for adoption professionals and families in Texas. Resources include support and discussion groups, educational programs, and yearly conferences.

Adoptive Families Together
Services and resources offered through this network of adoptive parents include parent support groups for families in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, an online discussion group, a newsletter, a calendar of events, and other useful publications.

Alabama Post Adoption Connections
Provides educational resources and support to adoptive families in Alabama. Resources and services include information on adoption, parent support groups, postadoption training, crisis counseling, referral services, and a resource library.

Center for Adoption Support and Education
Provides postadoption counseling and educational services to families, educators, child welfare staff, and mental health providers in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC.

Center for Family Connections
Offers support to adoptive families, birth families, and adopted people, including therapy for individuals, couples, and families; supervised visits and visits for siblings being raised apart; support groups for adoptive families, birth families, teens; and training in Massachusetts.

Georgia Center for Resources & Support
Provides resources and services to adoptive parents to help them become successful parents. Services include family support groups and buddy programs, postadoption training, online support through bulletin boards and chat rooms, referral services, and a lending library.

Kinship Center
Provides mental health counseling and support groups for California adoptive families and birth parents as well as information on adoption mental health clinics. The center aims to build a long-term support network for families to address postadoption issues as they arise.

The Maine Post-Adoption Resource Guide

List of services and information resources favored by adoptive families in Maine.

Minnesota Adoption Support and Preservation
State-funded adoption information clearinghouse that includes a training calendar for adoptive families and professionals, listings of resource directories, parent support groups, buddy and mentor programs, and parent liaisons.

New Jersey Adoption Resource Clearinghouse
State-funded service that provides support to all members of the adoption community and directs families to appropriate adoption services in New Jersey.

Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center
Information and referral service for Oregon DHS adoptive and assisted guardianship families and for Oregon families who adopted foster children from other States.

North American Council on Adoptable Children (2007)
Provides information on the mental health needs of children adopted from foster care and describes mental health services that are needed and available financial assistance. State examples of effective postadoption service programs are included.

Postadoption Support Services
Michigan State University
This website serves as a resource for adoptive families living in Michigan. Services provided include a directory of support services by county, an online library, and special sections for teens and children.

Wisconsin Post Adoption Resource Centers
